Where did you create this artifact?
This artifact was created as part of the graduate level portion of my course entitled Information Systems for Enterprise.
What did you learn?
The biggest thing I took away from this course was the ability to create and adjust workflows based on changes in software or the implementation of new software.
How did you learn this?
Not only did this course use Salesforce as a training tool, but we also incorporated Microsoft Visio to learn how to create workflow diagrams, and how best to implement new or adjust workflows to streamline processes.
What were some challenges that you overcame?
While I had some experience in using Visio, learning some of the more advanced workflow symbols, and learning how to navigate in Salesforce took some time within the course.
How will you apply this information in the future?
As someone who works in the Information Technology field, we are always looking for ways to streamline processes. With the information learned within this course, I plan to create diagrams showing certain processes, and work with peers to create smoother processes. This will also help my company as we implement new solutions for the IT team when we need to decide where helpdesk tickets need to be routed to speed up completion of these tickets.
